Main Area of Responsibility is
"Computer INFRAstructure and INFOstructure"
Main tasks are:
- to support the HEPD Information Infrastructure;
- support local DNS, HEPD Cloud storage, HEPD JupyterHub and several other services in domain pnpi.spb.ru;
- to develop and support the HEPD centralized computing resources
(hardware and software);
- planning the future needs in HEPD computing at PNPI;
- computing micro cluster (around 70 active accounts);
- cloud storage for HEPD;
- HEPD JupyterHub.
Important remark
PCs (hardware and software) and other computing equipment in laboratories and departments are out of our real responsibility.
