High-voltage station


Based on the HVDS3200 high-voltage distribution system, a 50-channel high-voltage station is designed for use in small experimental installations with gas-discharge and scintillation detectors.

The station contains two basic modules:

  • HVCB-HVDS1600
    Interface (Ethernet) module, which performs the functions of controlling and monitoring high-voltage channels.

  • DB50- HVDS1600
    50-channel program-controlled voltage distributor with built-in high-voltage source.

      The main parameters of the high-voltage station:

    • The maximum voltage is 4KV
    • Output voltage control range -0V-4kV
    • The maximum total current is 2.5mA
    • The voltage setting accuracy is +/- 1.5V
    • Accuracy of current monitoring - +/- 0.1?A
    • The output connector is REDEL. SLA. H51
The high-voltage station is equipped with a software graphical interface (see operating instructions HVDS instruction.pdf )

A modification of a high-voltage system with a framerate-free distribution of distribution modules has been developed. The design of the distribution module is made in the form of a mechanically shielded panel with the possibility of mounting directly on the detector.

This design allows you to reduce the length of high-voltage cables to connect to the detector, as well as to use both a multi-pin connector (such as REDEL.SLA.H51) and one pin (such as SHV or BNC) output connectors to connect to the detector.

An experimental variant of a high-voltage station (HVDS1600-200) was put into trial operation on the basis of high-voltage distribution panels.
