Two ionization fission chambers placed in fast neutron beam # 5 (see figure in "Main page"). First one containes foils of actinide material and are used in work "Neutron induced fission cross-sections of 233U, 238U, 232Th, 237Np and 239Pu relative to 235U from 1 MeV to 200 MeV". Second one containes foils of natPb and Bi and are used in work "Neutron induced fission cross-sections of lead and bismuth relative to 235U in the energy range 30 - 200 MeV".
In GNEIS experimental area closely to experimental set-up for the neutron induced fission cross-sections measurement up to 200 MeV (beam # 5). There are standing (from left to right): A.S.Vorobyev (PNPI), D.V.Nikolaev (PNPI), A.B.Laptev (PNPI), A.Y.Donets (KRI). There are sitting: T.Fukahori (JAERI, Japan) and O.A.Shcherbakov (PNPI).
In GNEIS experimental area closely to experimental set-up for the neutron total cross-sections of 209Bi and 208Pb measurement (beam # 3). From left to right: A.B.Laptev (PNPI) and I.L.Karpihin (ITEP).
In GNEIS experimental area closely to experimental set-up for the neutron multiplicity distributions in spontaneous fission of 244Cm, 248Cm and 252Cf.
