Laboratory of Mesoatoms
Introduction
The basic scientific activity.

   Experiment CMS:
  • Participation in construction, maintenance and operation of the EndCap Muon System of the CMS detector;
  Mesoatoms:
  • Particle mass measurements and strong interaction studies with exotic atoms using X-ray crystal spectrometer;
  • Theoretical study of mesoatom cascade features;
  Channeling:
  • Research and development of the high efficiency crystal extraction of 70 GeV protons;
  • Research and development of the crystal collimation system for high energy proton beams;
  • Feasibility study of the crystal undulator;
  Nuclear reactions:
  • Light nuclei photon-induced desintegration;
  • Heavy nuclei fission by pronons and neutrons;
