Nucleon-Nuclei Interactions Group
Introduction
The "Nucleon-Nuclei Interactions Group" (NNIG) previously known as "Polarization Phenomena Laboratory", workes since 1966. Prof. V.G.Vovchenko is head of the group from the beginning to present. The staff of the group includes 10 persons: 6 physicists, 2 engineers, and 2 technicians (See Staff). Measurements of the polarization parameters in the elastic pp-scattering were the main topic of the experimental efforts during recent years. The principal experimental installation at the group is the "frozen-spin" polarized proton (deuteron) target with 98% (37%) of polarization. Some experiments were performed in collaboration with JINR, ITEP, PSI. (See Historical overview of main activities).
At present, physicists of the Polarization Phenomena Group participate in several international projects  ALICE, ISTC and some others (See Current Projects)
