       HEPD_Seminar_Molkanov.P.L.mp4 - Video of P.L. Molkanov's speech.
(Abstract - The in-source laser spectroscopy is an extremely sensitive method of probing the nuclear ground and metastable states via measurements of isotopic shifts (IS) and hyperfine structure (HFS) of optical lines. Сhanges in the mean squared nuclear charge radii, nuclear dipole magnetic and quadrupole electric moments, nuclear spins can be deduced from these data. This report will discuss laser spectroscopy measurements for Bi nuclei performed at IRIS (PNPI) and ISOLDE (CERN) facilities.)

    HEPD-THD_Seminar_2021.12.02_Baru.V.V.mp4 - Video of V.V. Baru's speech.
(Abstract - Hadronic molecules are a specific class of dynamically generated states, located close to some hadronic thresholds. In this talk, I will provide a general intro to hadronic molecules. I will discuss how to distinguish between a molecular and a compact bound state using the Weinberg compositeness criterion and provide its generalization to virtual states, resonances as well as to a coupled-channel problem. I will illustrate how to identify a hadronic molecule in experimental analyses and highlight the typical problems with such identification. Then, I will switch to theoretical approaches for Hadronic Molecules and discuss how to deal with the near-threshold states within effective field theory approaches. I will illustrate this method using our recent analysis of the line shapes for the Tcc+ state measured by the LHCb.)

    HEPD-THD_Seminar_2021.10.21_Sarantsev.A.V.mp4 - Video of A.V. Sarantsev's speech.
(Abstract - A coupled-channel analysis of BESIII data on radiative J/φ decays into ΠΠ, KK, ηη and ωф has been performed together with pipi scattering data and the proton-antiproton annihilation into 3 pseudoscalar mesons. The radiative decay is determined by the production of isoscalar scalar and isoscalar tensor states. The performed partial wave analysis allowed us to define the properties of the scalar states with a good precision. The yield for the scalar mesons is described by the Breit-Wigner distribution with mass M about 1865 MeV and width ? close to 370 MeV, while the yield of the tensor states is close to zero in this mass range. The natural interpretation of this phenomenon is the production of the scalar glueball which mixes with neighboring quark-antiquark states.

An analysis of the experimental results within the framework of the 3 + 1 neutrino model is presented, which allows the results to be fitted within the available experimental accuracy. Estimates for the effective masses of neutrinos can already be made at the current level of accuracy.)

(Abstract - The Penning Ion Traps are widely used in studies of the fundamental problems in elementary particle physics, nuclear physics and astrophysics ranging from the tests of CPT, CVC, and determination of world constants to the high precision measurements of the masses and magnetic moments of the elementary particles, nuclei, heavy atoms and molecules. The main goal of the talk is to overview the progress in developing the modern Penning Trap instrumentation and to discuss the results of experiments with use of the Penning Trap mainly focusing on those with participation of the PNPI team. In particular, the status of experiments on the measurement of neutrino mass, search for resonant neutrinoless double electron capture, the experimental detection of islands of stability of superheavy nuclei, and the observation of a new phenomenon of high energy, high spin atomic isomerism will be presented. Such a wide review is aimed to emphasize the prospects of search for the new BSM physics in studies at extremely low energies using the modern Penning Traps.)

(Abstract - The strong interaction between nucleons has been at the heart of nuclear physics since the very beginning of this field. Remarkable progress has been achieved in recent decades towards qualitative and quantitative understanding of nuclear forces and the corresponding current operators in the framework of chiral effective field theory. Combined with modern ab-initio few-body methods and continuously increasing available computational resources, this approach opens the way for a systematically improvable and model independent description of light nuclei and low-energy dynamics in harmony with the symmetries of quantum chromodynamics. I will outline the conceptual foundations of chiral perturbation theory and its generalization to nuclear interactions and discuss achievements and challenges in developing high-precision nuclear forces.)

Non-Abelian vortex strings: from classical solutions to critical superstrings.
    HEPD-THD_Seminar_2021.05.20_Yung.A.mp4 - Video of A. Yung's speech.
(Abstract - The goal of the talk is to present for non-experts a review on the topics of the non-Abelian solitonic vortex strings. Starting with classical solutions the so called ''instead-of-confinement'' mechanism found in supersymmetric ''relatives'' of QCD will be discussed. It is a non-Abelian string mechanism alternative to the Seiberg-Witten scenario of confinement. In the ''instead-of-confinement'' phase the role of the constituent quark is played by the chromo-magnetic monopole. Finally, a particular version of supersymmetric QCD where non-Abelian vortices behave as critical superstrings will be discussed. This allows us to quantize the string and to calculate from first principles the low lying hadron spectrum.)
